Are you a skilled and motivated financial expert with a passion for education? My client is seeking a talented Manager: Finance and Operations to be a vital part of their mission to expand independent education across Namibia.
As the Manager: Finance and Operations, you will play a crucial role in driving excellence across their business operations in Namibia. Working closely with the Managing Director, you will be responsible for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance. Additionally, you will collaborate with other functional leaders to support the execution of their group strategy.

Key responsibilities
- Collaborate actively with other functional leaders to support execution of group strategy
- Oversee the accounting and treasury functions
- Deliver financial statements and reports, including monthly management accounts, statutory reports and ad hoc analysis and reports to both internal and external stakeholders
- Financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, benchmarking and performance review
- Procurement and financial process control
- Risk management, training and continuous improvement
- Management of taxation compliance
- Monitoring of new school development projects
Minimum requirements
- CA (SA) or CA (Nam) with a proven academic track record
- At least five years’ experience as financial manager of a large national business, preferably with multiple branches and/or operations
- Experience of managing staff and proven communication skills
- Demonstrable commercial ability and entrepreneurial flair
- Valid driver’s licence
Advantageous
- Experience in a listed company environment
- Experience with Dynamics NAV and/or Dynamics D365

- Financial analysis: budgeting, forecasting, feasibilities and valuations
